To accomplish great things, we must have a vision, act on it, and—most importantly—believe in our dream and in ourselves. But today, now thanks to this fortune cookie, I have new perspective on life.

“To avoid criticism, say nothing, do nothing, and be nothing.”
Avoiding criticism is much like avoiding getting wet in the shower, at least it is for me. But should we do nothing at all? Ignore everything and float around with no opinions, no thoughts, and sitting with our “hands in our pockets” to avoid life around us? I think not!
Sometimes you run into obstacles that make you take pause. You know, the moment when you wish for a delete button, wanting a rewind knob on your life’s remote control, or hoping for Groundhog Day to be a real thing, like in the movie, so you can get a free do-over. Then you open this fortune cookie and it reads:
“If you don’t like the direction you are heading, turn the other way.”
Finally! Some great advice in this sometimes mixed up world. So, toss the bad advice fortune cookies and find the inspiration you need that is good for your soul.

Here are some of my favorites. Let me know what yours are!
“It matters not what road we take, but rather what we become on the journey.”
“The only person who never makes mistakes is the person who never does anything.”
“If you want the rainbow, you have to accept the rain.”
“Follow your heart, but don’t forget to use your head!”
